20%

When you book a limo they charge an additional 20% (they say for gratuity) but are you still suppose to tip the driver or is the 20% really given to them???????????

I think you should give them something, especially since many of them are sooooooo nice.

Even though they include the 20% gratuity, I think they still expect you to throw in a little more. Especially if they give you really great service.

I think alot of companies add 20% gratuity. We tipped our drivers an extra $50. Our limo co. said that all of the gratuity doesn't go to the drivers. They distribute it to others, like the guys who clean the cars.

It doesn't hurt to give them a little extra if their service is good.

I guess different limo companies work differently. Honestly I think the 20% is just another way for most co. to make extra $$ for themselves , figuring that most will tip the drivers extra $ anyway.

If your co. said that the 20% is enough, then IMO you're dealing with a good co.

i think the extra 20% is kind of b.s. what happens if they mess up and are late? what if the driver is rude and forgets things like your champagne or runner? how about if he gets lost? since the 20% is added to the price you've already paid...you can't get it back! i think that kind of *****.
