2004 Brides

I am just checking in to see if any of us have done anything new since we last spoke.

- I have been looking at dresses for me and BMs in magazines and on the internet.
- I purchased my scored placecards that I can print on the computer

That is all that I have done since we last spoke. What about you?

I have to set a date..

I want DEC.. But I doubt I will get dec 03..

What do you think?

Well I now have a date, penciled in my church have to file out paperwork, and give them a deposit.
I am taking care of the reception place maybe this weekend - at least getting a price quote and get some more info.
I also got some great info from the dinner last night!

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but we booked Patken for photo and video. We're currently in the process of picking a limo company and then we're going to start looking at DJs.

The dress search will start in March. CAN'T WAIT!

I am working on the eparty arrangements for now. I wanted to visit florists but a couple of them would not even see me b/c I may change my mind as we get closer to the wedding. Two of the florists I wanted to see too! So I am holding off till next year on that.
I am starting to purchase the little things when I get a chance. The baskets for the rose petals. Basket for the program holder.

Marcela, I am so mad that I could not go yesterday. I would of loved to have met you and discuss our 2004 wedding since we got engaged on the same weekend.

We have booked Let Us Entertain You for our DJ. If you want more information about them, let me know. I am also going to be doing my dress searching starting in March.

When are all you ladies getting married. Im Jan 18, 2004 and probably have the least done. You are scaring me The only thing I have done is book Jericho Terrace. I know im going to book patken for photo. My sister just got married and had great things to say about them Candelite video and Flower Michelle so Im going to check them out first. Im I really far behind?

Wow, all we have done is narrow down our search for locations. We are pretty sure on who number 1 is, but we will decide after the holidays just to make sure. Other than that the rest is all floating around in space in abstract form. (ie. we are thinking about it) We are looking at oct 04, we would love oct 03, but could never save enough $$ by then!!!

I picked my MOH, and junior bridesmaid, but thats it, he hasn't asked his guys yet, and I have no idea if I will have any other girls ( I think not though)

I am hoping that we dont get in the habit of saying 'there is time' and we turn around and the wedding is next week and we still have done nothing!!! **typical bridal nightmare**

edited to add that the band is picked as well, just need to match up dates with the reception hall.

I am getting married 9/18/04 and I have booked:

- Photography - Marcy Studio
- Videography - Bellarino Video
- Limos - Marcy Limousines (associated with Marcy Studio)

I have already purchased my unity candle & stand, started to buy gifts for MOH, BMs & Grandmother, brought gifts for parents, ordered gifts for Best Man and GM and have snowglobe that is going to go on the table with my cake instead of a cake topper. We have also already taken our engagement pictures. That is all that I can remember so far. We have done so much already that I can not remember everything off hand.

I know Lisa. That would have been GREAT! There were also 2 other 2004 brides there that I know of Rob Luvs Me and Testarossa19. It was great to meet them and exchange ideas. I really hope that we can all make the next together!

Thanks for the info on the DJ. Do they have a website? Where are they located? So far we want to go meet with Invitation to Dance and Big Hits Entertainment. Any feedback on them?

Nothing new on this end. I am going to register and look for BM dresses after the holidays.
