2005 Brides.....

Hi girls! I'm new around here! We just got engaged New Years eve, and I think we've set our date for Sept. 24th 2005! We're living in Illinois right now, but planning our wedding on LI, so I'm glad we have the extra time to plan!

I've been obsessively lurking here for the last week, and I'm so excited to get started planning!

hi anyone getting annoying phone calls from vendors asking you if you want to make an appointment to go to their place? It's annoying! But I guess I have to start.. but how should I do it? Any suggestions?

We just booked our band for the wedding.
We are going to use Skyline. My FH and I went to a few band showcases and they really blew us away.

Has anyone heard anything about them?

Hey girls! I'm so excited - I FINALLY Booked the church.

FH and I found our bands and we are going to the jeweler tomorrow so that he can make them. We got the band contract - we just need to go over a few clauses with them. PLUS, we are going to see our first photographer tomorrow - SO SO SO EXCITED!

Thank God you are on this board b/c some of these '05 brides are scaring me they have everything done already. The only things that we have done so far is the Church, Hall, and DJ.
We met with one photographer (think we are going to use him) and one Florist (no freaking way) We just canceled tonight florist b/c of the weather. (I had ankle surgery last month and still not great in the walking dept and dont want to kill myself in the ice)
Oh and we registered at a couple of different places.
And that is it so far I feel so far behind.

We only have our hall, dj, and church also. I want to get my dress sooo bad because I found the one I want but my mom says its too early .

THe sad part is that I have been on this site since May - I just havent done anything - i kept on tellng myself that I have so so so much time - but now I dont! - We need to have everythign done by april - well the major vendors at least because I have finals in May and studying for the bar all this summer!!

We went to the florist on thursday and we absolutely LOVE THEM!! We are going to go see one more and then make a final decision though -
Which florist are you going to go see? Have you looked at any others? Florists is the next thing we are going to do...
