I agree with the feeling of slacking. I only have the church and hall booked too and I'm not even too thrilled with the church. Is it possible to go church shopping? how crazy does that sound? I just don't love the time that they gave us, and u can't put flowers or a runner down in the aisle so I'm kinda bummed. what do you ladies think? It's amazing how much there is to do AH!

Yes you can go church shopping!! I love my church, its actually where my FH has all his sacrements, besides the fact that its the largest catholic church in Queens. I'm a little freaked because I can only imagine how long it will take to get down the aisle! Try going somewhere else (unless you have your heart set on the church).. There will be other churches more flexible I'm sure

Bebalina -
Well, we're down to one choice now, and I am too superstitious for my own good, so we're keeping it to ourselves until the contract is signed, which should be next week. I'm someone who has had a rush of back luck lately, and am overly paranoid that if I talk too much about where we're going, that something bad will happen. (Especially since I'm still waiting on the church to let me know if the date is free.) I know, I'm weird! :) As soon as the t's are crossed and the i's are dotted, I'll be shouting from the rooftops. :)

I am not sure but I do know that whenever I book vacations they only have prices for the for the following year. For example If you called today they would only have prices (air and hotel) up to Feb '05 or at least that has been my experience. You should call first just to find out so you know when you can book and then you can get a head start at choosing a hotel so when the prices are available you can book right away and cross another thing off your list.
