Hey Ladies We just booked our photographer, Perceptions Photograghy with Anthony! Yeah!! We're sooo excited!! It's a bit scary how expensive everything is, but it's worth it!!

I'm getting married on June 11, 2005. I've already: -Booked the church -Booked the Hall -Bought my gown -Picked out the Bridesmaid dresses -I'm dropping off a deposit with the photographer this afternoon
Right now I'm working on STD magnets and favors for my Engagement party in May.
Yea! I am in a little bit of a rush though because my FH is leaving for Florida in May and I'll be going down not too long after (hopefully!)
This is fun!

I didn't see the Greek Brides thread, I'll have to check that out. So far we've booked the church, hall & band. Took a break from wedding planning though, because it feels as if that's all we've been doing for the past month! Next step is to find a photographer who has experience with Greek weddings, I want to make sure they are familiar with the church ceremony, so they get all the important parts on film. I'm assuming that you're also Greek?Who are you using?

Don't worry! My wedding is the day after yours, and that's pretty much all I have too. (I have my dress also, but that was kind of a fluke.) I'm going to be in LI over the next week, so I'm hoping to meet with a few other people. :o)

Yes i am Greek- I'm getting marrie at St. Demetrios in Astoria - My FH's church is St. Nicks in Flushing - but i live a block from St .D's - so its just easier for us.
About photo - we havent booked anyone yet - we've only seen Creative Compositions - We love thier work but they are very pricey - so we are going to go look at Verdi to see how their work is. I dont know anyone else that has gotten married at St. Nicks - FH's brother got married at St .Catherines and they used Ferrari - they are happy wiht the work - i like a more journalistic style though. Definitely ask the photographers if they have done a greek wedding - a lot have -

No way! It's so easy to get overwhelmed and stress with all of this planning but we still have sooo much time. It's important to take it all in and enjoy it. I've still only booked the church, reception,a nd now only recently the photographer. I think the biggest problem is too, is that I keep getting all of these phone calls from companies trying to advertise thier comapny. That makes things even more stressful. I would love to know how they all got my phone number.
Is anyone else having this problem?
