You two are too funny... We are paying for a lot of this wedding as well -- being split three ways, us, and each set of 'rents....now should we send separate checks or what ????

They are being very generous -- more the point is that they really don't have huge opinions on things and just are so happy for us. MY FMIL has all theses ideas and I think they are just WACKY! I really adore her though.
Ahh, your fmil must know my fmil!
She's a sweetheart and i love her dearly, but we are on complete opposite ends when it comes to ideas about the wedding...

why stop there - I think Jack (of Beanstalk fame), Little Red Riding Hood, and the Three Bears should be invited to perform - heehee. However, clearly, Prince Charming (a.k.a. you FH) is already on the invite list.
All joking aside - it's so nice to hear of a FMIL who's excited! Mine is too, and it's a good thing, IMO. Well, it is unless you have to leave breadcrumbs behind you to find your CH . . .
