HI all, I am getting married on November 18, 2005. I love the fall colors, and think they will look beautiful in pictures. But I noticed leaves falling already this year........I hope there will still be leaves around in november......Anyone else noticing or have anything to add

Re: 2005 Fall Brides
My concern lately has actually been more about the light or lack thereof. I want to take pics outside, and hope it won't be too dark at about 5:30ish

Yeah...the whole daylight thing is important. I also want to make sure some of the flowers in my yard are still alive and lookin pretty!
I Love Fall!

i wish there will still be leaves by my wedding date but i doubt it
however since im the day after thanksgiving, my hall said they will have x-mas lights and such up on my day
so that will make the trees look better

Check weather.com to get a sense of when the foliage ends -- there might be something to look at in Nov.

Well. that is a theme, I guess? Maybe you can do more vibrant colors then -- reds and plums. I like those a whole lot too.
Hi Vina! We are date twins! We booked so far ahead I was all by myself for a while but there are a few of us now!
Welcome to the boards!
I am worried a little worried about the trees also, although my wedding ceremony is at 5 so I have a feeling that we won't be getting much outdoor pictures anyway unless I take some with my bridal party before the wedding...

you might want to talk a nursery - maybe you can plant some trees that change late- at my old house we used to have three trees that did not change till nnovember - we always cleaned the leaves in the front yard over thanksgiving -
there are trees that go later

here is a better map - it tells when peak is in the northeast
That is an awesome map, Snowprincess! I really wanted some foliage for pictures, and it looks like I might just make it.

Thanks for the links those sites are awesome, I will definitely keep an eye open on the fall folage reports at weather. com. I didnt ven consider time and daylight until one of the photographers mentioned it, I hope to have the ceremony at about 3:30(if the church lets us) so we get a little day light . Nice to meet all the fall bride and my date twins
