Im a teacher and i cant tell you how many times I write the date on the board as 2006. And today I was teaching and said '...and now in 2006, we still have the same culture'.

Am i ready for 2006 or what???

I JUST WROTE A CHECK FOR 10/04/06.... THE CAR COPMANY CALLED ME....TALK ABOUT DUM....I JUST LAUGHED...

What grade do you teach? Are your students going to go to the ceremony? Some of mine did. It was so sweet. I teach 5th. I had past and present students there.

I am a teacher too and I have already had to teach my students how to pronounce my new last name. Half of them can (I only have 6) but what can I expect when half the teachers cant be hooked on phonics enough to figure it out!
