I DO!!! I've never been to one either. The last time it rained so much it was cancelled. I work downtown NYC, so I can get anywhere in the city. The 30th works for me.

I am only willing to attend a GTG in the Nassau or Suffolk area. I WILL NOT GO TO THE CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the suggestions in the Garden CIty area was appropriate.

This is actually a LONG ISLAND forum.

Lets have the GTG in Long Island

Hey Helen: I used to work in the financial district. I left NYC two years ago. I wish I knew you then. I was always looking for someone to get a drink w/after work. The girls in my office were such biitches!!

yeah the financial district certainly has its share of snobs!! luckily my co-workers are pretty relaxed.....and we have Stone Street & Ulysses right behind our building, so its a pretty fun location. it's funny b/c I left working in Queens 2 years ago! So we literally just missed each other!!

Sorry but yes you sound snotty. This is actually NOT just a LI forum. The boards are shared between LIWeddings.com AND NYCityWeddings.com. There are members from all over New York and even New Jersey, CT and other states.

Sometimes LI isn't convenient to everyone. There have been a few GTG's in Suffolk county and I think maybe even in Nassau. If you won't go to the city, that's fine. There's a GTG in LI on the Sunday of Memorial day which you can go to if we end up doing one in the city for May 30th.

I am very sorry...I am under alot of stress lately and have not been myself..

I want to apologize to everyone for being rude.

My intentions of joining this forum is to aid and get helpful tips with planning my wedding.
