2008 Bridal Shower, Updated : )

Hey girls!

For those of you that are hearing about this for the first time: This shower is Open to all 2008 s. Last holiday season we did a secret santa via mail. Meg (soon to be Mrs.D) suggest a shower several months ago for this year for all of us! Where we would be assigned a bride and we would get an item off her register in a price limit. We decided it should be in October since Nov. / Dec. may be to hectic since the girls getting married early '08 may be having their 'real showers' then .

October will be here in 9 weeks!!! I am going to put the deposit for the venue on my credit card and I hope to book the date this weekend

For all those that are def. interested (this is a Financial commitment ladies, please be certain that you can go ) PLease let me know by Sat.

Now we also need to decide what date works best for everyone?

Friday?
Sat?
Sunday?

Oct. 5-7th
Oct. 12-14th (Jeanette I know these are bad days for us )
Oct. 19- 21st
Oct. 26 - 28th

ETD: Meg posted a poll & it was decided that it would be @ Blue Lagoon in West Babylon price w/o t& t was about $20/pp & the limit on gift for the secret santa was $25 so my guesstimate would be $50 pp. If Blue Lagoon is unavailable I'll post another poll & we can re-decide


I just spoke to Peter @ Blue Lagoon

for a friday night the cost is $23 pp + t&t
For Sat/ sunday anytime it's $25 pp + t&t

this price includes :
-Soup
-Choice of 4 entrees
-Champagne punch
-unlimited soda
-coffee, tea
-dessert (either Apple crumb or Cheese cake)

what venue are we using??

did we even discuss it haha

oh and also it might be a good idea to put down the price we would have to pay per person. that might help everyone better decide if they want to go or not...

lol...i didn't even remember which weekend OF was, you're so ahead of the game!!

i think i'm good for any other weekend, i'll double-check...but what is the price??

$20/pp for dinner sounds awesome and i love the idea that we will do a secret santa and buy someone else something off their registry, such a cute idea!!

i am definitely going to be there. i'll vote for a weekend once you make the poll!!
