Hi girls!!! Havent been on this board in a while since im a 2010 bride now!!
Congrats to all who have gotten married!! I remember most of you...i have to take the time to check out all your beautiful pics!!!
Question: Short hair brides?? Are there any on here and how did you manage your hair the day of?? I tried growing it out but...lol...i ended up cutting it again cause the type of style i have it hard to keep if its grown out...
POssibly going to do some extensions but have it all up in some sort of updo because if i wear it down...its not me at all. lol
Pics anyone or ideas??
Thanks so much...and Happy Thanksgiving!!

I think you should rock your short hair. I am having this debate with myself regarding TWOTY. Im not sure what LIW will want me to do but I remember you saying your short hair is so characteristically you and I htikn you should keep it! What about some curls and a fun headpiece or flower

My sisters hair is super short and for her wedding she had the hairstylist put fingerwaves in it. Its not a style that everyone could pull off but she did and she looked amazing! Heres a pic:

Re: 2010 bride crashing...have a ? about hair
I think, no matter what, do your hair in a classic hairstyle-regardless if you keep it short, or put extensions in it. You don't want to look back on your wedding pics and see a dated hairstyle.
BUT...you don't want to exactly look like Rapunzel on your wedding day if that isn't 'you'.
I loved Gail's sister's hair! The classic retro fingerwave style is gorgeous.
Plus, you should google 'faux bobs'. A lot of celebs do the romantic bob style with waves. That would look gorgeous for a wedding. Especially if your hair is already short, no need to 'go faux'.
I always found the best wedding hair inspirations came from looking at red carpet pics. Go on InStyle.com, and check it out.
Can't wait to see what you decide on!
