Hi Ladies- I posted this in - '10 brides & BHB and got 1 reponse. I hope you girls might be able to help...
So I have not yet begun dress shopping. I have so much anxiety about it! I dont want to spend more than $2,000 (includes alterations) on a dress but all the dresses I like cost so much
I was wondering where I could start off shopping in Nassau- somewhere small, not crazy that would maybe have a 'look-alike' version of these kind of dresses. TIA
I got my dress at Bridal Reflections, it looks like it cost 5K, but it was MUCH MUCH less expensive!!!

I got my dress at Lillettes and they had excellent prices. I went there a few weeks ago for my first fitting and they had a dress in that style in their window, and I was kinda jealous that I already purchased my gown. I have no idea who the designer is or how much it was.

I also purchased my dress at Lillettes in Baldwin. I havent had my first fitting yet, but I've had a good experience so far

Thank you girls so much! A lot of people are recommending Lilletts. I guess I can bring in those pics and see if there is something similar. is there anyone is particular I should ask for? how far in advantace do I need to make an appt.?

I had Gerri, she is such a sweetheart!!! I would call a week ahead to make an appt.

also, there are three bridal reflections. the one is massapequa is the best for your price point and i've heard that they are great there! i happened to find my dress in the carle place one, but only because i fell in total love with my dress. my plan was for massapequa. i'm sure if you bring your pictures, they can help you find something similar. they have beautiful stuff!
