2010 crasher seeking honeymoon advice

I am getting married in the Fall so that means its hurricane season for the Carribean. The travel agent suggested to go to Aruba or Antigua. We want to go somewhere that is romantic, but we are still able to do activities and still do something at night. I don't want a place where it's lights out at 10pm. Has anyone had any experiences either places? Thanks!

We went to Sandals Antigua and lights were definitely not out at 10pm

We went to Sandals in Antigua and really liked it.

Do you want to go on your honeymoon right away or wait a few weeks? If you wait a little bit you might miss hurricane season.

i have been to st. lucia sandals and that was amazing. i have heard that antigua is like 10x nicer than st. lucia, so i would say dooo it!

i have friends that go to aruba every year, they LOVE it too

We also went to Sandals Antigua - it was AMAZING! We cant wait to go back!!!

ETA: we were there for 13 days, 12 nights - plenty to do every day & night - Sandals actually has a schedule sent to your room every day of the day's & night's activities.
