for reference we've been engaged since May of 2008. And I'm pretty instant gratification. Once I get it in my head to book something I do it within a week or two. Next is photo.

Im the same exact way!!! So now updated, I have completed ceremony location, reception location, flowers, photographer and booking videographer this weekend.

omg I feel so behind... I am booking my RH this weekend but thats it

Oh man! I feel so behind
We have the rh, we are having the ceremony there
and we have a meeting with a photog next week and have an idea of who our dj will be but thats pretty much it!

Church and RH are done!
well almost... we have to sign the contract this weekend!
Next up is photo/video

Does anyone else feel like people think we have PLENTY of time and it is too early to be booking venders?? Everyone is telling me ohh just wait you've got so much time!

Yes!! One reason i want to at least book the photographer, florist, and maybe limo is to get 2009 prices.
I HOPE and PLAN the economy will go up next year and therefore things will be more expensive
