I know Kim went... and I think Christina did? So maybe they know how things went down better than I would.
I'd be happy to help anyone who wants to spearhead a project, but I can't be the point person. Mainly because I have undiagnosed ADD and would make a mess of it. But lets get something going!!

Each girl gets a secret bride and they get each other items off their registry. For girls who haven't registered, they can put together a wuick small one just for the shower with some reasonable items on it. Then they exchange at the shower
We need to find a venue and collect money ASAP, I think.
Then 2010 got vendors to donate stuff for raffles, I'm not sure how they did that... I dunno, we need to have a meeting! lol
But they got a lot of stuff for $42, a whole sit down lunch with courses, dessert qnd cake, beer wine and soda, 3 entree options,... we can do it simpler if we want? But I think that type of package sounded good...
I've never planned a party of any kind though, so you guys tell me!

I've priced several Nassau restaurants, and have found packages like that for $25 - low $30s......not necessarily simpler, just somewhere else!! LOL

That's no problem, and this is why I'm not in charge, lol.
ETA, I also don't know if that $42 included a little more for decorations or other misc costs? Or if it was just the restaurant.

I can't really explain everything right now I'm getting ready for work but I will write a little bit about what they did and everything. But the $42 covered more then the price per plate it included the deocrations and such. They had a few girls email liw vendors to dontate prizes for the raffels. And someone was in charge of looking for a location and finding a place and collecting money. I think we should start a thread of how many would be intrested.
