2011 Crasher--- HOTEL ADVICE

Hi ladies,
Did anyone block hotel rooms with a hotel that provided a shuttle. I'm a Fox Hollow bride so i'm looking for a hotel in the area that provides shuttle service.

THANKS LADIES!! I hope you are enjoying being a newlywed.

Ours only provided to certain venues in the area that they were affiliated with so we went with a separate service. Alot require a minimum if they do provide it, I would call around to hotels near your venue and inquire

You don't want to stay in the Fox Hollow Inn?

Crashing.

Saw your post - if you think the FH Inn is too expensive for your guests, check out the Hampton Inn Jericho-Westbury.

I booked with Samantha George.

Hampton Inn gives you the option of passing the cost of the shuttle on to your guests - which is what I decided to do. So regardless of how many people book the hotel, there will be a shuttle to and from the RH.

I think the room rate was $119 or $129 without the shuttle, and $139 with the shuttle. I didn't tell my guests that we're passing the costs on to them, but they could always book another cheaper hotel if they think $139 is too high and don't care about the shuttle.

Also, the $139 price includes hot breakfast each morning. They hand out your OOT bags for your OOT guests when they check in for free and they also put a sign in the lobby the day of your wedding with the time that the shuttle will be leaving/returning so your guests are notified.

There is a pool and gym onsite too. It's only about a year old. You can go there at any time to check out the rooms. It's a little further from CHCC than I would have liked, but it's only like 5 miles away, which isn't far at all.

Thanks for the advice! I love the idea of the Hamptons Inn having the shuttle be like a 'hidden cost'.
