Thank you soo much, its so nice to read that! We went to a wedding in January at the Milleridge and FH said that it was probably the best wedding food hes ever had, that is mainly why we are getting married there!

Truthfully, I'm not really sure, I think her name is Leslie. LOL I'm in the middle of working full time, having a 5 month old baby and getting my masters, I tend to put wedding stuff on the backburner....
We aren't doing valet. I didn't even know that was an option! The wedding I went to there in January didn't have valet, and it was fine. The parking lot is right outside the cottage, it wasnt an issue.
Are you doing the gold menu? we got the Gold menu, and chocolate fountain. We missed the whole venitian hour at the wedding in January because I was 9 months pregnant and ready to blow by the time it rolled out, so we left early. I heard it was amazing though. I am so excited to see and eat it this time!
Do you know if we get a tasting? I never asked.

Congrats on the baby!!! you have your hands full. We got the Gold Menu too and we have the venetian hour with a fountain but didnt add the extra hour - i've been to so many wedding leave before it even starts. Yea you get a tasting, we're waiting until closer to the wedding to sit for it. The only thing with the tasting is that they dont give you the cake to taste. My BM said to make it a point to go to the showcases cause they have multiple flavors for you to taste.

Do you know when the next showcase is? I have to make sure both me and FH are off, I know he wants to be there.
Have you been to their village? I wanted to go and look around the day we booked but we had to get back home, and I never got a chance to go back up there.

I think they said the next one will be in the fall. They'll send you a letter in the mail to let you know though. I've been to the village it's really cute and their bakery is great. They make amazing cinnamon bread. and its really decorated beautifully around Christmas

omg thats crazy!!! LOl it would been awesome if you could have the food from my Wedding, mine is the 16th lol --we picked really good things hehehe :) Enjoy it, our food tasting was amazing!!!

question for the milleridge girls...
is anyone having their DJ booth in the corner of the room? my BM kristy and my DJ recommended having it at the back of the dance floor in the center, but FH doesnt like the idea of people standing at the bar/in the lobby seeing their whole set-up so he wants to put the DJ booth in the back right corner (if you're looking at the room from the lobby). has anyone done this or is anyone doing this?

haha i told the same thing. we aren't 100 percent sure what we are doing yet but we told our dj we wanted an extra backboard if we decide to put it in the center. so that everything is hidden.

crashing... hi ladies... i got married there on 12/3 and it was fabulous. please feel free to ask/FM me any specific questions.
as for the DJ backboard, just a suggestion, i would totally opt against that. the milleridge is so beautiful and the open layout is so so nice you shouldn't block any of it. we had a 9 piece band set up at the end of the dance floor and it looked phenomenal. the guests inside could see them, as could the guests at the bar. we def had a bunch of guys that really stayed and chatted in the lobby the whole time and this way they could still see everything going on. i put a photo in my album of the MOH speech with a photo taken through the band and it looks fab.

the backboard is half size so it won't really effect the layout of the follow of the room - it'll just coverup all the dj controls and stuff.
