2011 quotes for Brunos on Blvd and Verdis (Whitestone or Westbury)

I noticed not alot of ppl talk about Brunos in Jackson Heights maybe it's me but I thought their food was delicious so I am wondering whether or not any of you ladies got a quote for either place as of yet. Also, Verdis I just need a round about figure I never saw the inside of Verdis but I always pass it omw to Century 21 in Westbury.

I plan on having a Friday, 11/11/2011 wedding. Only reason why I haven't gone to the halls myself as of yet is because I just came from 'VACATION' (where I get engaged) so I basically used most of days. I didn't know that right after I would have to plan such an event.....

I checked out Verdis of Westbury a few months ago. I got a quote for a Friday night wedding in the range of $60-70 per person (I don't have the exact # it was a long time ago and I visited about 4 reception halls that day).

Verdis of Westbury is whewre you want to be, not the one in Whitestone. The one in Whitestone isn't as nice looking as their location in Westbury. I did not get a good vibe from them because FH and I dropped by on a Friday afternoon and we waited almost 45 min to meet with a Banquet Manager. That really turned me off. Also, most of their menu is Italian food. I needed a little more variety in the type of entrees/cocktail hour foods that would be served.

Other than that, I think the place is really gorgeous. It is very clean, spacious and the outdoor area in the back has a great spot for picture taking. The bathrooms on the lower level are in fantastic shape.

I was engaged once before and my mom threw my bridal shower at bruno's. it was amazing and the food was fabulous!!!!
but i have no current prices on them. is there anyway you can call and maybe they will give you some quotes over the phone? or do a search, maybe a past bride had a shower/wedding there and posted what the price per person was back then.
