hey girls- we guarenteed 175 at the RH- not sure how many ppl to invite- general rule of thumb is 20% of ppl say no- right?

yup thats the general rule of thumb but it also depends if your list has a lot of OOT's... i would invite about 225 -250

depends - are most of your guests from ny or oot??
we guaranteed 150 but said we would have around 200. we invited 289 and only 190ish are coming so we definitely had a response rate of more than 20%

Hi - we actually did a preliminary list first to see how many we would actually have .. then we guaranteed a low ball number ..
Im thinking if you guaranteed 175 you should probably invite at least 200???

yea i have prelimiary lists- ive given each set of parents there lists to go back over- FH parents have a few out of town guests that im sure are not coming- just not sure how many STDs to send out- i was thinking 215 range- just wnated to see eeryone elses experience with this
