2012 Bachelorette Party

So we were talking about doing a 2012 bachelorette party.

I wanted to throw out two dates and see which one works best for the most of you.

I was thinking about having it at a bar in the city. I think that it would just be pay for whatever you want to drink. If enough people are interested I can see if the bar would allow for an open bar option but I do not want to have it that you have to pay for the open bar because I know not everyone drinks!

Once we have the date I can start looking into ideas. Maybe I will come up with 3 different options and see what people like the best!

Is it at all possible to do it before 2012? Some girls are getting married at the beginning of January and in January.. and would miss out/already be married..

Some bars may even let you do an open bar but not where everyone has to do it. More like a pay X price and get a bracelet. I've been to a few of those.

Regardless - this is going to be FUN!! Watch out NYC, LIW 2012 brides will be partying!!!!

With December/holidays, it would be really tough before January I think. Mara probably avoided December bc of everyone's busy lives.

I do know that it can get in the way of some people's weddings but I think that December would be too dificult for everyone.

If someone is getting married before it and is not on their honeymoom they can totally still come. Who cares if you are technically already married!

I agree! I def think that since the Bridal Shower is in early Nov it would be hard to get a date before January for everyone to hold...

28th works better for me so far.

the 4th is the day after my bday, but maybe it'd be fun to spend the weekend with all the bachelorettes! It's also the night before the Superbowl, if that matters at all.

Either of those works for me at the moment, but I have no idea if it will conflict with something for FSIL's wedding (shower, b-party). So I guess that makes me a maybe.

It's tax season for me so depends on the weekend because I'm in the middle of a hectic work week and I work 6 days then.

Earlier is better but either way I'll try and be there bc sounds great!!!!

230 5th Ave Is an AMAZING roof top bar. It's a little pricy but really great even in the winter.

Either weekend works for me! Johnny Famous on Bell Blvd does this thing where you can purchase tokens at a cheaper rate for drinks when you have a group.
