2013er crashing needing photographer help...

Hi ladies! I'm figuring most of you have already booked ur photgrapher and might be able to help me.

FH and I are getting ready to go look at photographers. I know all the questions I want to ask them, but I don't know what I should ask for as far as albums, portraits, etc. My friend told me to put together a 'wish list' of what I want from them, but I don't even know where to start. Can anyone give me an idea of what their photography package includes?? I'm goin to be looking at Lighthouse, Sherwood Triart, Imagine, Thomas Paul, & ADA if anyone has specifics on those!!!

Hi Im using Tom Paul - i love my package =) heres that it includes:

2 Photographers
All images scanned onto Hi Res DVD
2 - 11X14
3-8X10
Up to 10 hrs of service
Engagement session with all pics of a CD and a magazine style album
4x5 Thank you cards, enough for all guests
Digital Wedding album 12x12
2 Parent albums
He also gives you the rights to your pics so you can reprint what you want

youre welcome! the only thing i dont LOVE is that he is only staying until the cake cutting and then leaving - but my videographer is staying until the end so im ok with that.

Got myself a good deal with Lighthouse. You can customize every detail of your package.

I had no idea what to ask either...but honestly, it didn't matter! I had an appt with Lighthouse and was there for THREE HOURS while Florio went over every single option with us. You would think we might be bored after being there for three hours but Florio is so passionate about photography that you get ****** in and find yourself fascinated!

Anyway, as a PP said, the prices and packages are fantastic and you can customize anything! Good luck!

Me too! It was three hours from 9-11pm at night on saint patricks day. Very rare for a vendor to do that.

He did mention this to me, and I made the biggest sad face. He then told me if I wanted him to stay the whole time he would. So just ask!!

Very rare! Of course, that's why so many people book them on the spot! So worth it!

crashing regarding TP..... honestly... i was bummed about them leaving after the cake cutting also-- Until-- i saw him shoot my friends wedding in June and COMPLETELY understand why they only stay until cake. After cake... guests start to leave.... and honestly all we did is spend the rest of the time on the dance floor. There really was NOTHING else for him to capture. He got sooooo many shots before this. We went through her proofs and i couldnt believe how many she ended up with.

If you're having a Viennese Hour... you could talk to him and he can take a couple shots of it all set up...

This!!!!! This is exactly what he told me about leaving after cake cutting. I spoke to him and said I was having a VH hour and he said he would stay to take pics of it but after that most ppl are on the dance floor dancing and there isn't much picture taking to take. I recommend Thomas Paul!!! Super easy to work with and he is awesome!
