2013'er crashing...help!

So I need feedback with my post-ceremony pictures timeline.

We are having an 11:00 am ceremony at the church, which is literally just 10 minutes from the reception hall. The ceremony is a shorter one, about 20 minutes. The cocktail hour is from 12:30-1:45. We don't want to miss cocktail hour, and we don't want to take pictures together before the ceremony, either.

We will have two photographers in the morning so that we can each take individual shots and shots with our respective families.

That said, how much time is necessary for pictures together after the ceremony? I am hoping no longer than 45 minutes or so...am I being unreasonable?

Do you plan on taking pictures only at the reception hall? Are you having a recieveing line after the ceremony (this may take 20 minutes on its own)

I havent gotten married yet but i have been in MANY bridal parties and i would say to take pics of you and FH and then of you, FH and the bridal party, and you, FH and both your parents/family. your going to need at least 1 1/2 hours. But i think you really need to speak with your photographer and see what they think is possible but i have a feeling you will be cutting into cocktail hour alittle.

Who do you want in these pics?

Bridal party and family?

If so, I really dont think its enough time at all. We did two 30 minute sessions with bridal/pafrty and family and then two more 20 minute or so session with just us. We did some pics at the church, some at a different location and some right at the venue but all together it was def. more then 45 minutes. We also had two photographers.

not enough time at all.
we took about half hours worth of pics at my home alone and then they took about half hour with DH at the church with the guys.
after the church, we did a receiving line and pics there and that was at least half hour on its own.
afterwards we went to a site with the photographer and took 1 hour's worht of photo's there and then we chose to miss our CH which 11/2 hours long and take more pics outside of the RH with all of our family, BP and again with DH & I - at least another 45 minutes here as well. and then obvi more pictures throughout the night...

Thank you for your responses! To save time, we were planning on not doing a receiving line after the church. We have a small bridal party, 3 on each side, and we both have small families. Even so, I know it's going to be cutting it close....

We have been thinking about the idea of taking pictures beforehand...I just never pictured it like that... I always pictured having that magical moment of seeing each other for the first time as I walk down the aisle.

On the flip side, taking pictures before the ceremony may be a good thing. If we do, we wouldn't be so rushed to fit everything in, and it would probably also allow us to have a moment to ourselves, which I'm not sure we would have if it were the other way. We would also have time for a receiving line, and that would eliminate us having to go to each table during the reception....

Did any of you see each other for pics beforehand and regret it later because you didn't have the 'walking down the aisle' moment?
