Looking to take future father in law out for his birthday ... is 21 Main in Sayville worth it?

The meat itself is very good, and the sauces are good too. The sides are not all that. The sides we had were the creamed spinach and potato croquettes (waiter recommended them bc Flowerfield serves them and we told him we were getting married there). All in all, it's definitely a good meal and it would be a nice birthday dinner

Oh no!! Does that mean the creamed spinach and potatos will stink at our weddings? He usually goes to Ruth Chris so I don't want to recommend a new place and have be blahh.

It's yummy...like tellers or blackstones a bit more personally but it's still great

I was thinking the same thing! But then I also figured that those two foods are not what I would ever order on my own. I don't really even like potatoes. We ordered them bc the waiter recommended them. Looking back, we should've tried the Mac n cheese bc that's what we like! All a matter of taste, I guess. It's definitely good food though! I would go back, for sure.

I've tried it many times and always dissappointed. I had to send my steak back three times and it still didn't come out medium. I will not be going back. Also, the side dishes suck.
I would highly recommend Le Soir in Bayport. I have been there about 10 times and food it always cooked perfect, plate is always hot, and it comes with soup, salad, and meal and sides! http://www.lesoirbayport.com/lesoir/Welcome.html

Love 21 main! Been there 3 times. I dream of the wedge salad and the skirt steak. Yum! They have live music on some nights too.
