21st century

SO i got a call today that I won all these different prizes from 21st century (a hotel stay, a $500 gift cert. to an online gift place, and a coupon for 20-40% off their products). The only catch is i have to sit through 1.5 hrs of them talking abotu their products.

So i was a little excited (but hesitant) but i made an apt to claim it and sit through their presentation. After doing a search and seeing this is just a scam I am not going..

DO you think i should not show up or call them to cancel?

I hate @sses who try to take advantage of people during one of the happiest time of their lives... Good thing we warn eachother.

We got the same thing and never used any of it.
The hotel is a 2 night 3 day to any of 10-12 places across the US, but it doesn't include airfare and if you want to add one to your trip they jack the price up rediculously. (also expires aprox. 1 year from the day you go)

The $500 gift certifiate is for gifts off this website but if you buy $500 worth of stuff, it costs $250 for shipping. (Although you might be able to find airfare to one of the destinations you want to go to).
20-40 off all their products is prob going to be non stick pots or something like that, but that is only included for that day.

We didn't find it all that useful, but hey, everyone is different. That is prob. what it is all about. Now it's up to you whether you want to cancel.

It's a scam, don't do it! My husband and I fell for it. The 'prizes' are junk you will not use. Don't waste your time.

I wouldn't bother calling to cancel. This could be your way of scamming them back!!!
