21st Century Concepts 'Free' Hawaii Trip

I have read posts about this 'scam' before, but for those of you who dont know the scoop on it, my FH and I sat through 2 hours of this guy trying to sell us cookware and place settings tonight. He even cooked a demo of chicken and veggies! We were cracking up. SO the story is - you get the call that you won this free trip and other stuff and they get you to come to this 'meeting' which is the 2 hour sales pitch. My FH and I did not buy a thing and we left with a voucher for 4 days, 3 nights at this hotel in Kauai. The hotel is nothing exciting, but it is beachfront and has a pool, etc. We are thinking of using the voucher for the first few nights and using the money we saved to splurge on an amazing hotel for the rest of the trip. I just have to research how sketchy the hotel actually is. So I'll keep you posted if anyone else is encountering this.

We went also a few months ago. That man was so arrogant. We researched this and you have to give money to hold the room, etc. You can only go certain times of the week, etc. It is a total scam. If you actually won something you should not have to lay out money for anything.

They hounded me - somewhere I must have given my cell phone #, I think it was Davids Bridal, so whenever I wouldn't answer my home #, the cell phone would ring30 seconds later, finally I just asked them to take me off their calling list and that worked, but it was funny that they would say this offer is only good for 2 more days, but a month later they would call again because it was good for 3 more days. I would stay away from them.

We went and it was BOGUS!!!! They have SEVERAL complaints w/ the BBB b/c I checked them out. 20/20 even had a show about them and how what they advertise is lies!!!!!
