we are going to a freinds 25th wedding ann/renewel of vowes. what does one give as a gift-the are have the reception @ new hyde park inn and i have never been. is it like a recp hall or restuarant

I just had a party and renewel of vows for my parents 25th we had the party in a restaurant ..many People gave money someone bought the lenox 25th wedding anniversary picture frame which was nice

NEW HYDE PARK INN? we looked there...from what i remember, the room we saw was your average 'hall' room. they did have a bar area that felt like every other bar/restaurant...but to be honest, i don't recall anything else.
