2,600 for Video?
Re: 2,600 for Video?
I think that sounds high. Did you ask to watch a sample...maybe it's worth it?

My future sister-in-law used JoVon last year for her photos & video. I think that's what she paid You may be able to find a cheaper one by going through your DJ. My DJ has a great video package for $1750.
Re: 2,600 for Video?
I think it depends on what you are getting. I believe there are some really wonderful companies that charge that or more and give you an amazing product that is like a documentary. I would look around at other videographers to compare just to make sure that their product is really worth that price.

That seems high to me. I used North Shore Video, a vendor on this site, and I didn't pay anywhere near that.
Re: 2,600 for Video?
wild rose has cheaper packages and I thought better quality

If you have two cameras, or a pre-wedding taped 'engagement' interview (a la Wedding Story) I could see it getting to that price. If you are just having single camera coverage of your wedding day plus editing, that seems high to me.
Re: 2,600 for Video?
I am getting nothing special. 10hrs, VHS, DVD, highlites & photos. I think I will look around. The wedding is in October. Will I find someone so soon??? PANIC!
Re: 2,600 for Video?
It sounds too high for what you are getting. Don't worry I booked my videographer 3 months before the wedding. I ended up booking Duet.
