my rsvp date is May 1st, when should i start getting nervous??? why do people wait so long to respond

My RSVP date came and went 2 weeks ago! And I'm still waiting on about 50 people to respond. I'm not too concerned- a lot of them I know are 'yes's, a few of them I spoke to and they are just trying to decide on whether or not to bring a guest, and then some people just s*ck.

I would start making calls two weeks after the RSVP date. Mine just passed on Thursday and I am still waiting to get about 7 back (including from the groom's grandmother and his best man). We know they are coming they just havent gotten to mailing it back. Dont panic until you have to. wait a few weeks.
