2nd dress?

2nd dress?

Would you ladies get a 2nd 'Party dress' for your reception? I was thinkin that for the last hour of the wedding I would wear a party dress and then wear it to the after party also. For instance I was thinking this dress in white.... (If it posts) What do you ladies think?

i probably will stick with my wedding dress since i dont have it in my budget for a second dress. i wish i could though

Thanks girls. This dress is only $120... so that's why I am thinkin... I might as well go for it!! I hope my mom doesn't get mad since she bought my wedding dress for me!

I did a second dress for the after party! Wow that's cheap for that dress! I say go for it if you're into it! We opened our after party with a Rock Band video game performance, and I couldn't drum in my 15 pound ballgown lol!!! I put the dress on for the last hour of the reception (around midnight) and kept it for the whole after party.








ETA: My friend/groomsman is skeevin' out in the background SO Funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dress is going to be soooo hot in it all day I just figures I would give myself a break, lol.

The dress looks gorgeous, def sounds great to me! I would def recommend having a 2nd dress to change into for your reception or after party. It's easier to dance and walk in. At the end of the day you want something that will be comfortable to wear and feel light on your feet esp for summer weddings.

I've definitely thought about it-

At this point I'm probably not going to do it, because my dress is mermaid shaped, it won't be as cumbersome as a ballgown. I think if I had a big ballgown then a dress change would be very necessary. Plus I spent a lot on my dress, I would like to squeeze every extra minute I can wearing it.

If it's in your budget then go for it!

That dress is really cute! Go for it!!!

I personally don't want a second dress only because I put so much time and energy into my first dress I wont want to take it off.. Ill probably wear it to breakfast the next morning

i have a 2nd dress my dressis very tight and i cant sit so i want to be able to party for at least the last hour in it! we are going to do a spotlight dance and that is when i m going to change!! go for it!!!! at that price you cant go wrong!!

if you want to you should. Personally I spent all this money on a dress I get to wear once. I would never change to another dress.

Mike (DH) and I laughed so hard when we saw him in the background of that pic!!!! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you one thing since you mentioned being hot. At one point during the reception when we were going around to tables, I realized I was like, radiating heat and gonna pass out. Sweat was literally POURING down my legs. I got upstairs and took off the giant crinoline I had under my dress and just wore the dress (it had a built in crinoline, I just wanted more pouf so I wore a second huge one) for the rest of the night. I stood in front of the ac for like 5 minutes in the bridal suite. It definitely does get hot so you're right about that. I think the dress you showed is beyond cute, and for that price you cannot go wrong!! Good luck!!!

OMG i second this! I kept going to stand over the air conditioning vents and just kept drinking water!!! and my dress wasn't even that full!!!

I say get it if you want it. . and if you change your mind that night just don't wear it and return it!
