2nd Hair trial with Joe from Saloon (link to pics)

OK girls, some of you asked me to post pics of this trial I put them in my album, you can see them better there. I put a few here from yesterday and one from this morning!!! I'm not home and I my friend's resizing program really stinks sorry...He was VERY NICE, I was late for the appointment because my fitting ran late and he took me anyway. I was VERY happy with the way he did my hair. The curls ARE very tight BUT my hair is EXTREMELY straight and does NOT hold curls very well. So he did it like that to see how long it would last. To my surprize I slept on it and it REALLY held up!!!! I was undecided whether or not to go with a hair piece (Easier to do and holds a lot better than my hair) But since it took I think I'm just gonna go with my natural hair.....
The ONLY problem is that this trial was RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!! I was FLOORED when they told me the price, I didn't even know what to do or think......I wasn't expecting it to be that much. (It was only a hair trial, NOT hair and makeup) I really think I was taken advantage of....I was thiking about saying something to him but I feel very weird about it.

I like it, but do you feel turned off by the price? It's been my finding that trials do cost upwards to $200 I think that's pricey too but I feel like we have no chioce!! My makeup was $100+ too.

i think it looks really nice ... really good .. if the trial was that much tho you should see how much he charges for the day of .. just a suggestion ..... but it does look very pretty ...

Yeah it was close to 200 with the tip...I was VERYYY turned off by the prce, I really feel upset about it!!

why don't you take the picture & try another stylist? I'm sure they can re-create it for you.

I know I thought about that too, but then I'm like holy sh** I just paid all this $$ and this guy is not even gonna do my hair the day of...I think I'm gonna talk to him and ell him how I feel...

i agree that hair trials are ridiculously expensive, but in a way, they're doing almost the same amount of work as though it was the real thing, so i guess that's how they justify it.

I like it too. My hair trial will be about $100 and that is with the tip included. My makeup trial was $50. I think $200 is way expensive for a trial but then again I didnt' shop around. I just went to my hairdresser bc I trust her.

your hair looks incredible!! and it even held curls till the next day!! but the price -- not so great. I can't belive it was so much. and the day usually costs more $$, right?

200 is really expensive for a trial. Even at Pilo Arts it is way cheaper than that. I love your hair, but if you aren't happy with th eprice then go elsewhere.
