2nd Time Around

How many of you are getting married for the 2nd time? Did you go through an annulment if you were married in the church the first time?

I'm so torn right now on what to do and could use some non-family input. (okay my sister is an '08er, but she's supportive)

Thanks Gals!!

if you want to be married in a church again you need to have your first marraige annuled. They will not recognize/allow a 2nd marraige to take place unless the first one is gone

A friend of mine just got his annulment.
It was a very long process!!
It took a year and there was a fee involved.
He really needed to get this done in order to get married in a church again.

Still trying to figure out how the Vatican approved his since he was married for 10years.

Thanks for the input.
It didn't bother my FH at first but now that he compares the cost of the annulment and getting married at the church vs. at the RH with an officiant, he doesn't mind paying the difference to go with a church wedding. The problems are:
I don't want to go through the dreging up of all the reasons I got divorced in the first place, it takes a lot of time, and our church won't let us book until the one year mark and we're not assured that we could get the time that works best with the time we booked the RH.

Okay, now what would you do?
