2nd wedding

2nd wedding

Hi..I just joined today to join in the fun. I am very nervous and happy to be getting married in Oct to a wonderful man. He has never been married and I am widowed...I just keep hoping my traditional wedding don't seem 'inappropriate' to everyone..I figure I have a second chance so I am going for it..ha. Not sure if anyone has had this feeling...

welcome and congrats on your wedding.

don't worry about having a second wedding. I'm doing the same thing, although I;m divorced. You'll find quite few of us here.

I worried about it initially but everyone agreed that my FH deserved a wedding of his own and so, here we are.

i absolutely agree that you should plan your wedding exactly how you want it (whehter it's your first wedding, second wedding, or 100'th wedding!)

people will be happy for you, they won't judge you!

This is my 2nd wedding also and FH 1st. Dont worry what anyone else says or feels. This is your day they wont judge you.

Welcome and congrats!! There are plenty of second time brides on this site, including myself. I say do whatever you want to!! It is still your day. I have had a few doubts myself but they pass quickly!

Welcome and Congrats on your wedding! I think that you should do what you want!! Don't worry about other people and I am sure that the ones closest to you will support you no matter what!

in regards to your traditional wedding...
... when my brother (never been married) wed his now wife (married once before) they had it at Captain Bills - and it was also a traditional wedding..... and they've now been happily married 11 years...

I'd say that's a great omen!!

my second wedding too..and my FH's first. I was against the traditional wedding at first then realized that he deserves his big day that he always dreamed of. Besides, to me, this is the first one that counts....we wantt o celebrate our love....we deserve it...and you do too!!!
