(3) Gratuity Questions

1) For those whom have more than one limousine, how much do you plan on tipping. Royalty says that gratuity is included but it's nice to give a little extra something to your personal driver. I have three limousines from Approx 1:30-5:30 (paying O/T) and they are sending the driver back to pick us up. What do you think is appropriate???

(2) When do you tip the Florist? I was thinking about this today and it's not like they wait around for you to show up or do they. I would assume that after they set up they leave. I'm confused on this one. Should I bring the tip with me or wait till I see there work and send it later?

(3) Who do and don't you tip???

I'm not having limos (ceremony at RH) so I can't help you with the 1st question...but I believe you only tip the driver who delivers your flowers and the florist does not actually get a tip. Who does get a tip:

photographer(s)
videographer
maitre'd
bridal attendant
DJ and MC or band members
(limo drivers)
officiant(s)
hair/makeup professionals
floral delivery people

I am not so sure on some because I didn't have a bridal attendant but we did the following tips:

Limo (was included in contract)- we gave him an extra $50.00 (was only one limo)

DJ- (one person)- $100.00

Video (no assistant)- $100.00

Photographer- $100.00

Makeup/Hair- My MIL paid for all of us so I think she gave them $50-$100 each - there were four of us they had to work on - me, MIL, SIL and my small niece.

Maitre D'- we gave $3.00 per person x 125 =$375.00
They told us it was usually $2-3 per person so we maxed it out at $3 pp.

Officiants- They gave us services free of charge but DH is close with them and took them to sporting events during the year totaling about $500 each Rabbi. They were happy with that as their tip and refused to take any additional from us.
