3 HAIR TRIALS!!!!

I have had 3 hair trials already and have not liked 1 of them. Some suggestions please????

Is it the style or the way the stylist did it?

I am telling them exactly what I want and SHOWING THEM A PIC TOO. It does not look the same when they are done. The second one I even told her it does not look like your doing it the right way and she said just 'wait 'till the end'. IT CAME OUT AWFUL!

I don't mean to hijack your post, but I feel your pain. I had 1 trial so far. Brought a photo, told her which side to part my hair. It looked nothing like the photo and the part was going the wrong way. I haven't ventured onto trial 2 yet. Can you fm me the names so that I can steer clear. Unfortunately, Jen Z., Denise Venti and the hair genie are booked for my day. I would luv to hear suggestions on non-vendor recommendations. Feel free to fm info & pix.

Erin at the Salon @ Ulta in Patchouge is an updo queen. Sh edoes half up half down styles, or all up. She has at least one bride a weekend or so and each time I am so amazed at how good it comes.

I had FOUR trials and didnt like any of them. I showed Sherry a few pics and she did EXACTLY what I wanted.. Sherrys Hair Designs

I recently got my hair done for a wedding at Stabile in Smithtown, and Stephanie did a beautiful updo, just like I wanted. They are on the corner of Maple Ave and Route 111. Maybe you can try them?

I totally hear you on the whole picture looks nothing like the final product. I think some hair dressers have an idea in their head how they would like you to look but its not necessarily what you want to look like Same thing happened to me until I worked with Mya from Cosmetic Artistry (she's a vendor on here). She made me feel so comfortable to speak up throughout the whole process and she did my hair in exact replica to the picture.
