3 months away and NO BM DRESSES!!!!!

We are a little bit more than 3 months away from the wedding! BUt I do not have any BM dresses!!

My MOH has such a crazy schedule she still has not let me know when is a good time to go and take a look at dresses.

My other BM (FSD) who lives in Florida, did not do good in school this Qtr, so she will not come up for Xmas break like she usually does. So she now has to send me her measurements, so I can order her dress and then pray I can have it altered 2 days before the wedding!!! She arrives on 3/18.

I think I am going to go shopping for BM dresses myself, pick them out and they will just have to get over it!!!

HELP!!!!!!!

OMG! Yes! Just go and order them yourself! You know your BMs, you can probably pick something nice out that will flatter them. Good Luck!

Yikes! You can't have FSD's dress shipped down to her and she can take care of alterations? Two days is really hard!

I could not blame you in the least for going and just picking out the dresses- you're just making an executive decision!

Yea I would just go and pick them out. I hear Davids Bridal dresses take 6-8weeks, maybe start there.

If I were you I would pick a dress & have them ordered from davids bridal or get dresses from a dept store like macys (same color/style)

i would try and pick a dress that they have in a store down inflorida so she can do al the alterations ans dstuff down there, so its one less headache 2 days before your wedding.

Thanks for the support girls! I think we are just going to have to go to a store and pick out dresses. Any recommendations? Saks, Macy's?

I would def do David's and then have it shipped down to FL for your bmaid to get it fitted.

No worries - I had a David's dress for a past wedding and it literally came 3 weeks later! But do it NOW!!!

Definitey go to David's so you are not slammed with a rush fee from the regular designers and bridal salons! Eek!

yea i agree.... i would go with davids bridal because you can get a dress from there, in hands, fairly quickly. we ordered there for a friends wedding and they were in the store about 5 days after!!! no joke.

plus davids bridal are all over. so she can go to one near her home in FL, get measured, and have her dress there for alterations. its your best bet at this point...

I have 2 out of state BM's and what they did was go to a dress shop near them, get measured and call in their measurements to the dress shop in NY so they were all ordered together. Their dresses will be shipped to them instead of the dress shop here and they'll take it somewhere local to them to get altered. BUT we did this in the 5 month range so I'm not sure if this is an option for you. I would call a dress shop and ask them what they can do in 3 months.

I was in a Davids last week and they had some really cute BM dresses, I'd definitely check them out . . . like TODAY! Another option is let them wear different dresses but all in the same color. Good luck!

Ita with the girls who said davids...i ordered a bm dress from there and had it in 4 weeks...plus they have alot of the sames styles as bill levkoff just different colors.

but seriously, just go and pick them out...they dont have to be there...and i would prefer sending her dress to fl so she can have the alterations done there...2 days is cutting it reallllllllll short
