FH had it done. Now he has better vision than me!! Take a pain killer when you are done and go to sleep and when you wake up you will have perfect vision!! how exciting!!

i had it done! someone might have asked this but where are you doing it? I had it in January of this year... it's one of my milestones for 07 got lasik, got engaged, got into b-school. Good luck - it's the best thing ever!!!!

you'll be fine! it's probably too late, you might be gone, but if you are having the 'normal' lasik you'll be much better than i was; I had to have PRK because my corneas were too thin, but even that is fine - just one extra day off! I had it done at the manhattan eye center, so i'm not familiar with him but i'm sure he's great - they do tons of these a day.

I definitely recommend the one in Manhattan - he's like nationally known and been around forever. The only effect I have is occasional dry eye... but that has gotten much better. And i was BLIND before - my contacts were like -6.50.
