I just got a letter from my new BM Toni Ann- guess what her last name is.. Russo.. maybe she's related to Mr. Russo? Or just a coincidence?
That stinks that you didn't at least get a letter.. maybe they just shuffled me over to Toni Ann? Idk.. I know the letter definitley said that Lauren was leaving.

Congrats!
I met Mr. Russo by chance when we first met with Lauren. He's really a very nice person to speak to imo. Took the time to speak with us even though he was in a bit of a rush to get to a meeting.
So I go today to look at Russo's vendors .... I am so Happy I chose Russo's .... where are all the russo's brides????

Anyone go last night ? I went with FH and it was nice to see our DJ (Mike from Soundcheck) in action. I was a bit disappointed in CSE (Classie Sounds). Seemed like they were more lights and such than music.
Thats why I did not book them. It seemed a club.
Yes when we first went to them (you can see my whole post on the '08 board) it's like they were all about the lights and not about the music.
Soundcheck was exactly what we're looking for and Mike is just a fabulous person.. I can't wait till FH and I get married so that we can really
party!
My older son had Classie Sounds as their DJ and they were great. Not all about the lights at all. They had the crowd jumping from the moment we all walked in. They played everything and did everything that was asked of them and people are still raving about how good they were. I would recommend them to anyone in a minute.

Glad that they enjoyed Classie Sounds- I just wasn't impressed with them however- it seemed to me that they were just selling the lights not the music.. just imo though. I'm definitley happy with Sound Check and our DJ.. it's going to be fun.

I just spoke to our BM about cake samples today and got a complete list of flavor options for anyone who's interested.
Frosting: choice of whipped cream or butter cream
Cake: choice of sponge, vanilla, devils food, or Traditional Carrot Cake with cream cheese filling/icing
Is this for the regular cake? My daughter is getting the 'Elements of Style' package and I think there is some sort of upgrade to the cake.

we didn't go with the elements of style so i'm not entirely sure. i know it includes upgraded cake choices but i'm not sure if that is for both the design and the flavors or just upgraded design.
