Question...Did you do cake testings and food testings at russos's...I didnt thnk they had it bc you get many choices...Did you have to do anything wtih them beofre your wedding other than paying the bill?

Yeah..which is funny because me FH was like 'thats too much!'

We are opposite couples!!

We are definitley going to do it though....its different and people are used to the same old same old..time to change it up a bit

Very true I forgot to mention. I'm going this week to make my last payment before the FINAL payment I can't believe I'm less than 6 months away.

That final payment is a biggie...have you been making small payments in between or you are doing the big whopper at the end..I have no idea what we are going to do....just writing a check that big gives me agita

Hey girls--I just got married at Russo's, so look out for my review very soon!! They were amazing!--And I had Classie Sounds as my Dj, a house vendor-everyone absolutely loved them!! I would def go to a show case and check them out.

Theresa how was the specialty lighting at Russo's...I am thinking of adding just that on because they have that option..they say it sets a nice mood...I can't figure out if its too clubby or really nice...any help...

Hey---I didn't have specialty lighting. It was all the DJ! We had a light show/lights throughout the wedding. I was very worried about it being clubby--I think it just made everyone want to get up and dance!

Because in my book it says if you get elements of style you get the lighting?
I am jumping to conclusions maybe because I saw the linens on your tables....
Well even if not....your lighting looks fantastic!

Also....I am about to cancel my current dj, long and aggravating story..

but my FBIL used classie sounds and I think thats who I'm gonna book....we would have Nicholas as our MC...any reviews

We had the package just below eleements of style-------table covers; change of napkins; decorated dais... I think that's it. I forgot the name of the package.

We had Nicholas (Nicky)!!!
I was skeptical along the way ...........But he ended up being really good!! He really got the crowd going & wasn't intrusive at all.

can you tell me what you were skeptical about and what did he do
My FBIL used Steve from classie sounds

He put the bride on a platform and did like all ladies interaction...did he do that for you
I loved them at their wedding, but they did not have Nick, Just steve

It's the linen package. That's what we got as well.

Reesa can you repost your link? I just saw your post and the link expired. Anyway, what color bows did you have with the Linens pkg? Did you have a choice? ETA: I was told you can only have ivory on ivory, but I would love to add a shot of color with the bows.
