Hello Beautiful Brides!

I'm a lil bit early, but I'm hopping into bed now!

<3 QOTD <3
What, if any, are potential triggers to set you into utter bridezilla mode -either planning or at the wedding?
<3

I keep promising myself I will never be like those tv maniacs, but who knows?! I don't think I will be upset by flowers being a shade off, or my cake being the wrong flavor, but if a vendor outright doesn't show I will freak!!!
Secondly, my fear is the people who can not control themselves drinking in public environments. I have a few boys in mind who I can see acting stupid and I will make my hall throw them right out in the street! Hmmph!!!

I think I'm most concerned about my mom. She's very excited for this wedding and constantly calls to make sure I'm on top of everything and that I'm getting everything done. For example, there are a couple of songs she would like the DJ to play which I said no problem and I asked and he said to give him a CD with the two songs on it and he'll play it. Just yesterday she called to see if I did that yet. HELLO, If I give it to him now it will probably get lost in the year. Uh, mothers

I think if my fh sister is law announces she prego on any big day of mine (shower, rehearsal dinner, wedding) I would go insane because she is like that. Other than that I think i would be ok but who knows in the moment

I love your choice of questions....

I don't think I'm a bridezilla by any means. I never dreamed of my big day, so there's not a whole lot of wants. However, My parents could probably turn me into a bridezilla. Specificly, my father. He has this habit of never listening, then doing whatever he want to do.

I could ask him to do something simple, and he won't. Or he'll do the exact opppsite. Plus if he doesn't like anything , he almost makes a big stink. My biggest fear is he'll make me go bridezilla or embarass the hel out of me.

Hmm... I don't see myself particularly going bridezilla in general, let alone over any thing in particular.
I do get very upset when people give too much of their opinion and shoot down my ideas.... but that's not towards anyone in particular.

I can see it happening if my mother is constantly saying 'no'. I've already talked to her about some things and she just says no. I'm like uhm, you can't say 'no', you aren't paying for it. So yea, if she doesn't back off with that then I can see me flipping out a little lol.

Kristy i said that samething that I would never act like the girls on TV but of course there are things though that if they go wrong of course i will be upset ..i mean ive been planning for so long and if something goes wrong i will cry but the one thing that im so so scared about is my families really on both sides of me and FH there are people who love to fight and i will up upset if a fight breaks out at the RH ..i really hope they just keep there mouths shut and enjoy and i hope no problems

I dont think theres anything Id really go bridezilla over. The only thing that will definitely set me off is if a vendor does not show. Otherwise, my only other concern is my aunt who is a huge pain my ***. She tends to drink a bit to much and say the nastiest things to people. I think that will cause me to flip to since its an on going problem.

I don't think anything in particular will make me go Bridezilla but I hate when things are disorganaized so like the rehearsal and the day of just the bridal party walking in and not acting like fools will make me happy. I have 10 couples so I just hope that for those 2 days they just act organized for one hour each day. They already know I like things correct without me even saying it so I don't think it will be bad at all.

I'm in no way a Bridezilla, the little things don't really get to me. The thing that can set me off is my mother, she gets really upset when she has an idea and I shoot it down...that drives me crazy!! She thinks that whatever she says I'm not going to like it...I wanna poke my eyes out when I talk to her sometimes...but I love her!!!

As far as planning nothing has upset me and I cant really see anything or anyone making me get crazy.

As far as the wedding day goes.. I can see myself getting really upset and frustrated if I am running late or feeling rushed. Or esp if someone else is making me late. That is why I plan to give myself plenty of time to get ready and take pix. This is the main reason I hired a DOC. To keep us in check. Also, like u Kristy there are a few ppl I feel might get out of hand with the liquor and I am hoping no one acts a fool cuz they will need to go or will get cut off!

The only thing I can see myself going completely bridezilla over is if vendors don't show or mess up in a huge way. We're paying too much $$ for something like that to happen!

I hope that I never act like a Bridezilla. I am a control freak, so hopefully I will be able to plan for everything that could go wrong. Maybe we should ask this question again as our dates get closer… LOL

I think the only thing that may trigger Bridezilla mood is if any of my BMs turn into drama queens or if someone tries to rain on my parade.

My FBIL has been engaged since 2009 and a date hasn’t been set. When FH & I were first engaged, I was afraid that FBIL and his fiancé would start planning their wedding and it would coincide with our big day. Yes, they were engaged first. Yes, they should get married first. However, they were engaged for 2 years without planning anything when we got engaged. I wasn’t going to wait for them to get off their butts and start planning. So far, so good. (Is it wrong to think like this??)

I think the only thing that would make me go bridezilla is if I had some wedding dress disaster.. With that said, I've been called a Bridezilla twice already.. But I'm really not! LOL

ughhh! I hate that! I get called that jokingly from people at times, but I really don't find it funny

I have yet to be a bridezilla and hope I don't. I would be upset and mad if something goes wrong but I am not one to flip out like you see on TV. On the other hand I can see FH being a groomzilla on certain things.

I think I would only become a Bridezilla if a vendor didn't show up or if my photographer didn't promise the stuff in the contract. Did anyone see that on News12 - how the photographer 'lost' their photos? I would FREAK - maybe even show up at his house! LOL

I'm a usually quiet person, so something major would have to happen to set me off. For example, like someone said, if my photographer 'lost' my pictures...something major like that. I'm a little nervous about my grandma though. There's a little rift between her sisters and my parents, so they won't be invited. So, I'm afraid my grandma will cause some kind of drama. That would kind of bring the bridezilla in me LOL

My biggest trigger is people being just plain negative and critical over what we choose. It hasn't happened much at all, but the thought of it and if it does happen... arrgh! Then I get cranky

I don't think I'd be a bridezilla but I never thought I'd be this picky about everything surrounding the wedding. You put so much time and effort in hopes that it all goes according to planned. I think I'd get really crazy if something major happened and something didn't go as planned. I have a pretty calm temperament so I don't think I have it in me to be bridezilla crazy. So really really detail oriented. Every bride wants a perfect day.
