Hi ladies! I'm so happy the weather has appeared to brighten up a bit today
Today's question: for those who have furbabies, will you be involving them in the wedding? For those who don't, what is your opinion on this?
Answer: I would LOVE to have Riley (our cavalier King Charles spaniel) in the wedding but FH is 100% against it. He loves to joke that he could see him running up the aisle and jumping on the priest to give him kisses lol he thinks everyone is his best friend. He even tries to say 'hi' to this homeless lady near our apartment who screams and spits on people! Haha but I definitely want some shots with him during our engagement session and would love to include him on our STD. He is part of the family after all
I love the idea of having furbabies as part of the ceremony if your venue allows it!
I wish I had a furbaby!!
I love the STDs that have the dog wearing a sign that says 'My parents are getting married!' I think they're SOOOOOO cute.
my only concern would be where to put the dog after the ceremony or him getting too excited and pee on my dress. lol

I wish my dog was trained enough to actually be part of our ceremony! I'd love to have him as our little ring bearer. He's a Maltese and the meanest cutest little pup in the world - obv. I'm obsessed with him! I'm going to get him a little puppy tuxedo and take pictures with him at the house before the ceremony. I wish I could include him more!

We always said we would but when it came time to make a decision.. We said no. He gets too excited and the venue is an hour away.. What would we do with him after?? But we will be taking e pics with him!!!

I would love to have our tressa as our flowergirl lol..and I'm pretty sure FH would be all for it. However Tressa is a pit bull, and very excited/nervous. She shakes and pees on the floor when she sees unknown people (yea real tough dog) so I doubt that she would be a good addition to our ceremony lol
I would LOVEEEEE to involve Comet in the wedding, but I'm not for the following reasons:
1) The church probably wouldn't allow him. 2) We'd have nowhere to put him afterwards because we'll be about 45 minutes from home. 3) I doubt I could get a cat to do much of anything without getting distracted/wanting to hide from everybody. 4) I think FH thinks I'm this crazy cat lady because I'm trying to think of all these ways to incorporate him without actually having him in the wedding.
That being said, we are going to call our signature drink The Comet!

I may be the odd one out here but I think pets don't belong at weddings (don't hate me!). I love our dog to pieces and would do anything for her but she won't be part of my wedding day.
I think if the dog is well behaved and can handle the attention than it can be cute but when the dogs are not well behaved I feel like it takes away from the moment.

I don't have fur babies but I think for the people who have fur babies I think it is super cute to incorporate them.

I would love to have Carlos be our little ring bearer but FH is dead set against it. To be honest, I used to think it was ridiculous when people did that but now that we're engaged and have a furbaby I have completely changed my mind on it.

I'd love Chloe to be a part of our ceremony but there is no way the church would allow it, plus the logistics of having someone keep an eye on her and bring her back and forth just doesn't make sense. Also I could see her barking like crazy when FH kisses me. She get so jealous if someone hugs or kisses me.
I do plan on incorporating her though. I will be getting her a custom made purple 'bridesmaid' dress so we can take pictures together at my house. I also plan to get a nice frame & put a picture of her at our sweetheart table.

We have 2, and although I love them to death, there is no way on this green earth that they will be well behaved enough to be anywhere near a white dress. LOL
They are also Beagle mixes, so they have hound in them, which makes their howls super loud and piercing, and I don't think that would go with my romantic ethereal vibe.

FH and I have cats so there is really no way to incorporate them into our ceremony unfortunately. But I'm planning to get them little bow tie collars and I want to take pictures with them at my parents house before we leave for the ceremony -- since they will be staying at my parents when we go away on our honeymoon!
