We got engaged after about 5 months of dating (we knew eachother about 1 1/2 yrs) and everybody said- ALREADY?? What's the rush?? Are you sure??? It was tre' annoying
5-'what does your dress look like?' ---- you can see it either at the wedding or in pictures (and my mother needs to STOP ANSWERING THIS QUESTION!)
4- 'are you sure you wanna do this?' ---- no, we're just spending a ridiculous amount of money, stressing out of stupid things and are really excited, but no... we're just playing
3- 'have you booked your honeymoon yet?' ---- NO! NO! NO! (his family is like OBSESSED with the honeymoon)... listen, we have like 935705740935 other things that are, TO US, more important than a honeymoon... like oh I don't know.. FINDING A HOME! when we book our honeymoon we'll go on the news and announce it to ALL of you
2-'i'm getting an invite.. right?' ---- if you have to ask, then NO you're not!
1-'omg, your ring is gorgeous! is it real?' ---- no, its totally fake, FH got it out of one of those quarter machines, it turns my fingers green and the stones fall out all the time!
I got -- 'Can I be a bridesmaid?' from one girl -- it was very uncomfortable and wound up causing a big thing later on.
Then there are the general annoying questions -- Why December? Why do you care about all the little details? Am I invited? Why are you having such a long engagement? Why can't I bring a date?
seriously ppl have been asking us this since over a year ago....like W T F?!?!?!? Everytime I say the same thing 'no theres 1,000 things to do and we wont be done til like they day before wedding probably'
We had someone, on the day we told him we got engaged, tell us all about how stupid the word fiance is and how he would never use it when he got engaged because it sounded so ridiculous. Um, thanks for celebrating with us...moron!
