<3 QUESTION OF THE DAY 3/28 <3

How fitting for me to be honored with the BOTW Veil on my '2 month to go' anniversary! Thanks again for the honor!

So last night as I tossed and turned in bed I thought about all the small touches that I am hoping to incorporate into my wedding. Some that others may notice, others that truly are just for myself and satisfying my OCD. And I began to think of my overall theme and how much I love it so!

So today's question is ... How would you describe your wedding's overall theme or feel? And what special elements are you incorporating to bring about that them?

<3 I am going for an overall 'Shabby, Chic, Vintage, Elegance' theme for my wedding. Our venue makes that happen almost instantaneously. We are getting married at the De Seversky Mansion ... very 'Great Gatsby' and I just love that! We arent having any modern elements like truss' and zap shots or photo booths for our reception. It just didnt seem to fit the feel we are going for. I cant wait for it to all come together! <3

Fun! Thats the overall feel I want my guests to come away with! Bright colors, a band, flowers everywhere! I honestly cannot wait! My dress is the exact definition of fun!

totally agree about de seversky, RH twin

We are having a vintagey theme as well and I think the mansion does most of the work for us!

Hmmm I'd say my theme is romantic and blingy lol. The decor in our room is going to be all white linens and our CP's are white flowers. There will also be lots of candles.

We also have lots of bling - our invites, menus and table numbers all have some rhinestones on them. I'm adding a blingy belt to my dress and our tall cps will have crystals hanging from the branches

My CH is outside, and the overall feel of the day is informal, but elegant

Simple elegance is what I'm going for. Our room is in gold's and ivories, our centerpieces are 50-70 white ivory roses w/ candles all around it, and have little touches of bling here and there to add some shine. I can't wait! Our room helps to make it feel elegant.

I guess our theme would be romantic with a touch of a 'club' vibe....I have no idea how the two go together, but somehow it works

Modern mets Traditional

My dress is that definition to a 'T', it looks very traditional on top but is very trendy on the bottom

My whole wedding runs along this, all very traditional aspects with a very modern twist on things

We are going for a 'natural' feel, with lots of rustic touches like branch CPs, moss and our green, brown and ivory colors. It will also be casual elegance, hopefully

Romantic, imtimate and fun. We kept it small so that helps with the intimate, there is always romance at a wedding.

Then we want all out FUN at the reception. Drinking, dancing and good times

the theme im trying to go for is (and i warn you this is very cheesy) 'enchanted forest' i love a real rustic look and feel and were having that with birch wood trees as our centerpieces, pumpkins as the base of the low centerpieces, manaznita trees to hang the place cards on, and colorful butterflies going up are cake. the way it will beome 'enchanted' is because all of this rustic decor will be adorned with crystals. basically i want the room to look like a fairytale forest like the forest in the wizard of oz

p.s. i just read this and it makes me sound crazy but trust me it will all come together
