<3 QUESTION OF THE DAY 3/30/11 <3

Im so sorry for posting this a wee bit late. Its the craziness of CSE time and I am under the weather so I apologize! Talk about being overwhelmed!

So ... hinging off of this I got to thinking. Wedding planning sure can be overwhelming on top of working (more than) full time, trying to exercise, eat well, socializing with friends and family, keeping a clean living space ... I sometimes wonder how I get it all done! That leads me to today's question.

What do you do to destress? How do you juggle it all? Do you ask for help? Do you do it yourself so you know its taken care of? Do you go away for the weekend? Go upstairs and lock the door?

***

I'll be perfectly honest in saying I dont know how I do it. Most days I work 12 hours with no break. I eat in the car en route to another student and at times I dont even realize that I havent eaten a thing and its 4 pm! On top of wedding planning I am SO ready for some time away, but right now I couldnt even do it while relaxed. So much paperwork and preparations for work! So at times I call a friend and vent, perhaps cry a little, and it helps me regroup. When all else fails, I nap!

So tell me how you do it? Off to update the wedding 'to do' list!

It depends what I'm destressing about. Work has really been nuts especially the last few weeks, so sometimes what does the trick is going home, eating dinner and then just watching television (something that doesn't requiere me to use any brain cells). When it comes to work, I take it all on me and don't like asking for help - I don't trust others very often.

There have been times lately just because of all the stress that I just need to cry sometimes and will go into the bedroom and just lay in bed. Sometimes I pick up a book. Sometimes I go shopping. Sometimes I come to this site and that helps also.

When it comes to wedding stuff - it's kind of similar - I don't like asking for help but FH has been there along the way so that's been wonderful. I take too much on and with work it's been a bit crazy, but then I just realize everything will get done and will be beautiful and it sets my mind at ease.

I am busy too I am an infant teacher and work 7-3 then come home cook clean spend time with my kids then go to school from 6 until 10. I.am drained but my kids destress me. They are so cuteand make me feel so loved. 5 min with them helps. Also reading and singing and listening to music when driving.

I have always been the 'do-er'. Rarely ask for help, just chug along to get it all done

But honestly, I've been sleeping in on the weekends and it feel so good!!!!!! I am usually not a late sleeper, but I now sleep till like 10 or 11 on Saturday and Sunday and it is wonderful!!!!!!!
