<3 QUESTION OF THE DAY 3/31/11 <3

Hi ladies ... Hope everyone is muddling through this not so great weather day. And I hear the forcast for tomorrow isnt any better! Lets hope the news reports are wrong for our upcoming brides!

So ... for today's question. What do you think/will change once you are married? Where you live? Your name? Certain lifestyle?

***
This question got me thinking a bit. First and formost my name will change as I am taking future hubby's. My place of residence will also change. Despite being a bit of an older bride, I have been living at home since my return from college. When I had made plans several years ago to move out, had been apartment/house hunting and the like, I ended up very sick and could not care for myself. Those plans were put on hold and I have remained here ever since! So that certainly will be an adjustment for me and for my parents.

First and for all my Last name. I'll be going from a 9 to a 5 letter last name.
Hopefully moving within the next month or two after the wedding. Also I would acknoledged as a wife and not a GF or Fiancee.

Everything else is the same because we been living together for the past 2 years.

Hmmm what will change for me....well I have been living with my FH for 4 and half years, so our lifestyles wont change that much. But we do plan on moving immediately after getting married, and probably moving to LI so that will be different (living in Queens now). And I almost 100% sure that I am hyphenating my last name, so that wont change too much. The biggest change I guess would be that we will begin trying for a baby RIGHT after we get married, and thats pretty exciting!!!

Good question...got me thinking!!

As far as our everyday lives and the way we act - nothing is really changing there. We already live together so now we are just going to be married and living together LOL.

I am planning to change my last name. It stinks though because I can't legally change it until after we get back from Ireland in August because we already bought the tickets under my maiden name. Oh well!

As far as where we live, we are planning to stay in our apartment while we save for a house. Hopefully we'll have one within the next 2 years.

New name, gulp...NEw Jersey drivers license, filing joint taxes

FH and I own a home but it needs lots of renovations and after the wedding we can refocus on it and make it our dream house to raise a familyyyy. Babies will be the biggest change.

Well the main thing for me is changing my last name, we already live together and have a child, so prolly just my last name

absolutely nothing! We've lived together for 5 years already, we just got a new townhouse that we will be living in for a while til I finish my fellowship, I'm not changing my name, and we aren't having kids! I think the one thing that will change (hopefully) is that we get a puppy

Not much will change since we already live together. My last name will change though and we will be able to build up our savings account since we won't be paying off the wedding anymore
