3 weeks before the wedding........................(UPDATE)

i find out that my make up artist is no longer at the salon. thank god i have her number. i have to find out what the story is. i'm thinking how reliable is she if she didn't notify her clients about the change. how has money now to do trials


UPDATE:
I finally got in touch with the make up artist. She told me she's pregnant and due in December. She said that she'll still do my make up. Here's the catch....NOW she tells me that if she travel to L.I., it would be $40.00 more When I booked her I told her it would be at the Marriott. She said she's coming from S.I. $20.00 more I would've paid her, but not $40.00. THis has been the only thing that's making my nervous. My fh and good sister is keeping me calm. They said worse calms to worse, I'll do my own make up. I really don't want to do that.

I would probably go with someone else.... she seems flighty! good luck!

Wait, you have her #?? Maybe you should call her and see what she says. I wouldnt really worry about it. Maybe she was going to call you closer to the wedding to confirm everything. Were you supposed to go to the salon to get your makeup done or was she coming to you? Ya never know, maybe she had every intention of calling and didn't think about telling you that she is no longer at the salon or maybe she thought it wouldnt matter, especially if she is supposed to come to you on the day. i agree. i would def call her first and feel her out to see if you think shes going to be reliable enough for that day. Then, if you still feel nervous about it, or she seems flighty.. then give one of the other girls a call

I am so sorry! but thank GOD you found out in time to make alternate arrangements! I am using Jillian from Gorgeous faces. she is AMAZING!! (and a LIW vendor)
