Any opinions? Anyone been to a wedding there? How was it? I want to hear the good and the bad. Thanks!

OMG! GORGEOUS! Went to a wedding there a few months ago. GORGEOUS - the Food was impecable. I went for quotes, and it was way over my budget...approximately $150 after tax/grat w/the minimal.

Had a tasting...I loved the cocktail hour food but was not impressed with the dinner. Do you remember what you had for dinner?
How was the service?

The service was great. As far as the food, honestly, I don't remember what I had, but it wasn't bad b/c I would have remembered that much.
However, you went to the tasting, go w/your gut feeling, if you didn't like it - don't book it. If you went there b/c of the atmosphere and decor - you can find something very similar at many of the lofts in NYC.

Actually I love the place except the salad was bad. It was one of those things - how could you mess up salad and everyone at the table thought it was just an awful course. So that was my one red flag.
BUT at $95/pp, the price for Jan/Feb/August, its too good of a deal to pass up I think. I just needed confirmation.

Hmm...that doesn't sound too bad, and the $95 pp, is actually fantastic! Does that include their site fee? Good Luck!

She didn't mention a site fee. Only a ceremony fee of $300. Did they quote you a site fee? I hope this isn't a surprise cost...

Yes, they stated that there was a fee for the actual site, then a fee per bartender, per server, etc.

Re: 3 West Club
Hi,
I just went there this weekend and it was really nice. We decided not to book with them but if we were definitely having our reception in the city, it would be my top choice. The prices are based on month, not day of the week. So, a Monday and a Friday evening would cost the same within the same month. It's 105 per person for evenings in July and August. It's a little more for the Spring and a little less for the Winter.
They have rooms available for OOT guests ($150) and suites($175 for small, $225 for large) available. The ballroom was gorgeous and one of the cocktail rooms has a really nice view of the cathedral across the street with the option of some tables outside.
The only downsides: No parking. You might be able to get a discount with some of the garages in the neighborhood.
They nickel and dime a lot of things. It's around $95 per bartender and around $75 per rest room attendant. (These are ball park figures since I don't have my notes with me right now) Only one entree option is included in the base price. For a second option, they add $5 a person. They also charge $35 a person for tastings.
Overall the little things add up but for the city, the prices are way better than most. Also, Pilar, the coordinator is really on top of things and seems like a pleasure to work with.
Please fm me if you want some pictures.

Did they quote you a site fee? The bartender and rest room attendant fee aside... That's the amount that would break the budget...
