30 Day Shred.. UGGG!

30 Day Shred.. UGGG!

I started it today. I thought I was going to puke when it was done and I am exhausted now. I seriously could spend the rest of the day on the couch.
I think it will be great, once I get used to it, but I can't believe how out of shape I am. I was trying to work up to it with a week of Cardio Kickboxing and Aerobic Dance, but it just shows you how much more intense her workout is then most of my videos.

LOL!!!! Yea the first time I did it, I felt the SAME WAY!!!!!!!! I couldnt even walk b/c my legs felt like jello. When I tried to walk, I was wobbly and had to hold onto the counter at one point. FH thought I was faking it lol!!! It does get better and you get used to it... its great!!!!!!

Do you have to buy any 'workout accesories' for this video? (ie: weights/band etc)???

You need hand weights and a mat if your on a hard surface.

I don't know how I am going to motivate myself to do it again tomorrow after feeling that way today.

I think it is awesome that you guys are using this to get motivated and in shape! Congrats!

Here's my question though...am I the only one that finds it just ok. I mean...I do all three levels each week. Sometimes I do one and two on the same day then go for a run and I still don't feel like I got that great of a workout. I don't know...I feel like I get better workouts at the classes at the gym. However...I've been working out my whole life and never taken a break. Seriously, maybe I'm just hard on myself. I feel like a slacker when I do this video. Am I crazy??

I'm on level 2 and it kicks my butt every single time! Does that level ever get easier? I can't imagine ever being able to do half those moves!

Yes it will...! For sure. Just remember if you are in good health then your body can always do more than you think it can.

Sadly for me...those moves aren't half as hard as what I used to do with my old trainers. But...that was back in the day when I was training like I wanted to be in a fitness competition. I don't have time for all that anymore.

OMG thank God I am not alone.I been working out with Fh for a year now and I dropped three sizes in a year. I work out 5 days a week. I did this dvd today and I am in so much pain. I stopped all through it!! But I am glad I did it! Def I am going to try to do it without stopping next time!! But it is so hard now I know why those people on the Biggest Loser lose all that wieght SAP. Also they work out 4 hours a day!

So I just started this workout today. I bought the dvd like a week ago and have been staring at the packge hoping it would open on it's own lol. Anyway I was finally motivated to start and it was friggin hard!! I was like...how hard can a 20 minute video be?? I am in decent shape (or so I thought) but wow. Anyway- I dont really want/need to lose too much weight just really want to tone. Just wanted to say thanks to you girls because you motivated me to start working out again!!!!

I don't think its meant for the people who work out intensely and with trainers. There was a time I could have done that workout with my eyes closed. YEARS AGO!!! But not now. Now it kicks my butt.

You have just described my entire night! I used to go to the gym 3 times a week and with finishing school and the wedding planning I havent had time. Well now school is over, Im about 7-8 pounds heavier than before so I started the shred today and seriously Jillian kicked my behind! I used to be in really good shape. Im so depressed over how out of shape Im in! Her 20 mins had me sitting on the sofa for 30 mins after .. so sad
