So the hotel block expires this Thursday and we already have 38 rooms booked. The stupid hotel is still charging us for our suite. How ridiculous!

Yeah - I actually got them down to a great rate so I didnt mind paying but I still think that once you book a ton of rooms they should do something for the B&G ..
I love that hotel though. Are you doing the brunch the next day?

Re: 30+ rooms booked
We were going to but there was a lot of family drama
so FH and I put our foot down and told both sides of the family that we are going to our favorite diner. If they want to come thats where we will be. If not Im not going crazy running all around town.
The drama is too much for me to handle.

Really? they're charging you?? friends of ours got married there about 3 years ago and their honeymoon suite was comped. Try going there and talking to them, ask for a discount. we've stayed there a bunch of times (FH's company christmas party is there).

Re: 30+ rooms booked
We arent getting married at the Hyatt, right next door but still not the Hyatt itself.
I called them the other day and asked for a discount. A few of my guests told me they got a better rate using their AAA card.
So I called them, gave them my number and told me that the best they could do was 30.00 discount. Its no bad but a little more off would help me out a lot at this point

thats my RH too! I am also having a room block at the Hyatt and I thought it was a little weird that the bride and groom had to pay. We are only having about 20 rooms though, 38..they should comp your room!
