Has anyone seen 300? FH wants to see it tonight? Any romantic comedys out in theatres?

I made FH go see THAT by himself! HA I just had NOOO desire to see it! He said it was awesome though!

I saw '300' tonight with my husband. I actually enjoyed it! But I don't mind watching action films. It was very entertaining and fast paced.

My friend said it was a cross between troy and lord of the rings with some really great looking guys lol Okay now i'm interested

The man totally wants to see it.
I'm cool with seeing it because visually I'm sure it's going to be amazing.
Though the movie is most likely not going to be true to the history - and it's also probably going to be terrible acting-wise

Peter Travers (Rolling Stone - the only critic we trust) gave it 3 stars. He said there was little to no character development but it was visually superb and the non stop action was great.

He also said something about a steamy sex scene.

a friend of mine saw it and said to bring a change of clothes because you will 'soil yourself.' I don't know what he meant by that.

We saw it over the weekend. It was good but not great. Visually, yes it was incredible. The action scenes were awesome. But they easily could have cut about 30 minutes..way too long and drawn out at the end. The romance was totally unecessary and lame, IMO (do I sound like a guy?)
Sin City was much better!
