30TH Anniversary Reception - type place suggestions

I want to have a surprise 30th anniversary party in October for my parents (a while away I know but I have to save and plan!)

They live in Queens but I am going to look in Queens and western Nassau - I don't want to spend too much, even like the Knights of Columbus hall would be OK as long as it is not too corny LOL !

Casablanca in Queens by Juniper Park, its a great place

or Roma View in Howard Beach, nice room, great staff and the do a nice party and very reasonable.

Roma View is really nice, I agree!!!! They do a really nice job! There is another Knights of Columbus in Valley Stream that I believe that is really nice. Several of Dh's friends had their engagement parties there and it was nice. When I talk to him I will ask the name.

New Hyde Park Inn.. They are very reasonable. We had my grandparents 50th anniversary there years ago, my shower was there, my cousins wedding was there, my parents wedding was there and on and on andon. Its sort of a family place. I know they have great prices and packages.

Swags the Knights of Columbus is on Roosevelt, the upstairs room is nicer

MrsT I love Cassablanca

We had my GF surprise bday at Viva Locos nice room holds up to 60 was reasonable.

Blue Moon in Rockville Ctr has a room, Roccos Catering in East Rockaway,

Buon Giorno on Merrick Rd in Lynbrook holds up to 45

Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City, rm is downstairs and lovely holds up to 60 people
they were reasonable
